The Little Could Engine..lol

Well the summer has pasted since I was on here last.Soo many things my boy did and said,he is growing so fast and what a little character he is.Where to start??We decided to get Jonathan into soccer this year, just a chance to get out and something different and maybe meet some new friends..Well it wasn't what I thought it would be like, a little young this year I think,he hated it really,lol..First of all who plans a soccer game with a bunch of 3 year olds in a park yard with swings and slides ect??The whole time each week for the big 45 mins it was Jonathan we can go to the park after,no Jonathan stay here ect lol.Than you start teaching your child to share from very early on and than they go play soccer just to try to take it from each other,this did not go over very well with Jonathan and makes sense to me really..He couldn't understand why all of a sudden he was suppose to try to take this ball from someone,he didnt think that was very nice and got sooo upset when someone did take it from him.I said Buddy that's how you play the game, only 1 ball and everyone is suppose to get it to kick it..He said once, but Mom it isn't nice to take things that don't belong to you..He kinda did have a good point,lol.Maybe next year will be easier..The last game of the season he got his first and only goal and he was so proud and so was I.I threw my hands in the air and yelled yeahhhhhhhh Jonathan good job,picked him up and hugged him soo hard.Than I let him down to looked up and everyone was looking at me like I was one of those crazy mother's that makes such an big deal over things and I have to say I did,and i will..lol..Another thing we did over the summer was we went to the play house to see Toopie and Bino.He was soo excited and enjoyed it very much,however,i wasn't too sure which entertained him the most the show or the man sitting behind us with 1 arm?!lol..He had been turned around in his seat when the lights were on and I thought he was just looking and point to the kids behind him...Well guess he wasn't..I turned around to see what he was looking at and it was a man sitting there with 1 arm!I turned and looked and there was Jonathan with his little finger in the air pointing at him saying look Mama look!I didn't know what to say nor did I want to say anthing at all,the chairs were soo close..I kept saying Jonathan turn around please,he said but Mama look!UGH!After the show I asked him why he wanted me to look at him to see what he would say.He did say because he only had 1 arm.I explained to him that everyone is different and its ok everyone is different and that maybe we shouldn't stare at people that we might hurt someone's feelings..He looked at me and said awwwwww Mom I was only teasing him,lolol..Since Christmas time last year Jonathan fell in love with trains,Thomas the Train..We decided to take him to Moncton to see some real trains, he LOVED IT..We had a good time.I found him the book The Little Engine that Could book,I was surprised he wasn't that interested till we rented the movie..He loved it,it was his first full movie he sat down and watched, over and over at that.He kept saying Mom can we watch The Little Could Engine now??lol It really is such a great storey,I remind now of the storey every time he says he can't do something..He is my little could engine. .xo
